About Bourton
Bourton is an iconic men’s country shoe. These shoes are a piece of Northampton shoemaking history, and yet today they are the go-to shoe for men all around the world. The Bourton is unmistakable - a heavy Derby shoe that bears the brogue detailing synonymous with true country shoes. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the shoe to provide a watertight seal, and the split welt provides an additional watertight seal between the shoe's upper and sole.
As with all of Tricker’s shoes and boots, each pair of Bourton shoes are handmade within their Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established Tricker’s reputation. There are 260 processes used to make each pair from start to finish.
Made from a beautiful waxy pull up leather Whisky Pampus, expertly tanned by the Heinen tannery which is located in Germany since 1891.
Features waxed laces.
Commando Soles
Tricker's original country sole - these take a bit of breaking in, but they provide excellent durability and grip across all terrain - particularly in the countryside.
