Trickers Stow -Caramel Kudu
About Stow
Stow is Tricker’s most iconic men’s boot. Made originally as a country boot, but now worn by men all around the world across fields and cities. The Stow Derby ankle boot is instantly recognisable for its brogue patterning synonymous to Tricker’s; however its strong, solid build and seven eyelets make it as recognisable, whilst by no means flashy. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the boot to provide a watertight seal, with the storm welt providing an additional watertight seal between the shoe’s upper and sole. Of course, featuring leather linings.
As with all of Tricker’s shoes and boots, each pair of Stow boots are handmade within their Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established Tricker’s reputation. There are 260 processes used to make each pair from start to finish.Â
African Antelope Greater Kudu.Â
The leather used is African Antelope Greater Kudu.Â
Due to their grazing habits mainly amongst thorn trees, the Kudu hide becomes scratched and scarred. These marks give the leather its inimitable character making each pair of shoes and boots completely unique.
Ridgeway Sole
It is a hard-wearing rubber sole characterised by protruding lugs and large ridge channels that offer great traction and stability. Ridgeway soles are more lightweight than commando soles but are thicker than Dainite boot soles and have a slightly raised profile.
It is an excellent all-purpose sole and performs well in nearly every condition.Â
